About Emergent Leader Training

The Emergent Leader training increases a leader's ability to initiate, realize, and manage growth for self, other and his or her organization. The Emergent Leader training is being offered for people working or volunteering in Lutheran Organizations of North America. The Emergent Leader Training includes peer review and evaluation, cohort accountability groups, skill development practicums, reading and growth assignments between events, and teaching about core leadership competencies. Training Events

Cornerstone Consulting provides ten days (65 hours) of leadership training conducted over a three month period.
2018 Emergent Leadership Training
  • EVENT ONE ORLANDO – January 16-19, 2018 Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. to Friday 3:00 p.m.
  • EVENT TWO ORLANDO – February 6-8, 2018 Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to Thursday 3:00 p.m.
  • EVENT THREE ORLANDO – April 3-5, 2018 Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to Thursday 3:00 p.m.
  • The Florida Training Events will be at the Life Enrichment Center, 4991 Picciola Road, Fruitland Park, FL 34731.
2019 Emergent Leadership Training
  • EVENT ONE ORLANDO - January 14-17, 2019 Monday, 1:00 p.m. to Thursday 3:00 p.m.
  • EVENT TWO ORLANDO - February 12-14, 2019 Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to Thursday 3:00 p.m.
  • EVENT THREE ORLANDO - March 25-27, 2019 Monday 1:00 p.m. to Wednesday day 3:00 p.m.

Kurt Bickel
Kurt Bickel

Kurt Bickel has 22 years of consulting experience. He is a Certified Professional Coach with the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (2012) He holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri, (1995) and is a Certified Consultant for Organization and Human Resource Development, with The University Associates, San Diego. (1991) He is a Graduate of Concordia Seward, NE (1973).

    Sue Easton
    Sue Easton

    Sue Easton has been an Organizational Development consultant since 1988 specializing in innovative workforce structures including virtual environments and self-directed work teams. Sue has served a client base including Fortune 500 Companies, non-profits, government, colleges and universities around the country. Sue is a professor at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where she is Department Chair and teaches courses in Organizational Communication. She has received several awards for excellence and innovation in teaching.

      Daryl Pichan
      Daryl Pichan

      Daryl Pichan has mentored and coached business owners, presidents, partners and senior leaders for more than 20 years. Clients are able to re-calibrate and re-energize their functioning by gaining advanced level mastery in leadership skills through improving management of self and deepening their understanding of the emotional processes that guide every human interaction. He has advanced degrees through the University of Rochester, University Associates and Georgetown Family Ctr.

        Les Stroh
        Les Stroh

        Les Stroh has forty years experience as an educator, trainer, executive, manager, consultant and entrepreneur. Les has a Bachelors of Science in Education and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development. He was granted an Honorary Doctorate from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2009. In 1991, Les founded CORNERSTONE which is dedicated to "empowering people in organizations for quality of life, product and service.”
